Geraldine King is an Ojibwe woman who comes from Kiashke Zaaging Anishinabeg (Gull Bay) in Northwestern, Ontario now residing in Ottawa, Ontario.  As an aspiring writer and poet, she dedicates most of her spare time to attending poetry readings, writing and submitting her works to contests, anthologies and magazines. Though none of her works have ever been published, the love for expression through writing inspires her to keep on creating.  Ms. King writes, produces and broadcasts a radio show in Ottawa which focuses on providing culturally accurate and unbiased information about Aboriginal music, issues and culture.

Geraldine has just been hired at the NCFNG as a Public Education and Communications Officer.  On a personal note, she lives in a heritage house with her 6 year old son Adrian and avidly travels the powwow trail as a jingle dress dancer.
