What will you and your Nation learn?
Your Nation will learn about current aboriginal title and treaty rights case law in Canada. You will also learn about how First Nations and the Crown have reacted to case law. The workshop includes a framework for achieving greater control and influence on your traditional lands. After this training you will be better prepared to implement a territorial rights strategy.
Who delivers this workshop?
The workshop is delivered by aboriginal facilitators that understand First Nation communities, history, and law. They have been trained to use innovative facilitation techniques that communicate key concepts to a diverse audience. All material used in the workshop is grounded in our legal, academic and community-based research for restoring First Nations.
